Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh, Head of the Committee, asked ministries, sectors, and localities to issue mechanisms and policies on reforming state-owned enterprises as scheduled. The equitization aims to withdraw state capital from enterprises in the non-core business sectors, improve business management, and production efficiency.
Mr. Ninh said: “
The tasks are to determine subjective and objective reasons, and responsibilities of individuals and organizations for not fulfilling the equitization plan and make a report to the Steering Committee. Functional agencies have to continue rearranging enterprises as an important work in restructuring the economy and improving business management.”
