Ca Mau needs to develop faster and more sustainably based on science and technology, digital transformation, circular economy and knowledge economy, especially green transition, energy transition and e-commerce, he said.
Ca Mau was urged to focus on developing renewable energy, expanding the gas, electricity, and fertilizer industrial park; boosting tourism, farming and processing; developing road, aviation, inland waterways, and maritime and seaway projects.
Earlier, Prime Minister Chinh inspected the upgrading and renovation of the Ca Mau airport runway, the progress of North-South expressway project passing through Ca Mau province and the gas-electricity-fertilizer project cluster.
