Ca Mau to become a developed Mekong province by 2030: PM

(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has described the announcement of Ca Mau Provincial Planning as of special importance, creating new development space, promoting sustainable and effective development, and maximizing the local potential and strengths.

Mr. Chinh addressed the conference which unveiled the planning and investment promotion of Ca Mau province in Ca Mau on Saturday.
He said that by 2030, Ca Mau strives to become a developed province of the Mekong Delta region, adopt a uniform, modern infrastructure system, have human resources to meet development needs, promote digital transformation, science, technology and innovation, develop green economy, circular economy, and adapt to climate change.

“I firmly believe that after this conference, Ca Mau will see a breakthrough development step. What's the breakthrough? That is the mindset that must be understood, the determination to maximize distinctive potential, outstanding opportunities, and competitive advantages for development. Problems must be solved and difficulties and challenges be overcome. We must move forward with our own internal strength and self-reliance. I believe we are brave enough to do this,” Prime Minister Chinh said.
