(VOVWORLD) - The EU said Wednesday it has started to implement its plans to limit financial and transport disruptions if the UK leaves the EU without a deal within the next 100 days.

The plan assures rights of UK citizens living in the EU after a no-deal Brexit, provided this approach is reciprocated by the UK.
The EU made a temporary and conditional equivalence decision for a fixed, limited period of 12 months for financial services based in the UK to ensure that there will be no immediate disruption in the central clearing of derivatives. It adopted a proposal to continue to provide certain air services between the UK and the EU for 12 months and extend the validity of certain aviation safety licenses for 9 months.
