(VOVWORLD) - Britain and the EU have not reached an agreement on Brexit, scheduled for October 31.
Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Monday and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker held their first face-to-face talk over a two-hour lunch in Juncker’s native Luxembourg on Monday. The meeting was constructive but did not reach any milestone. Both leaders agreed that the discussions need to intensify and meetings will soon take place on a daily basis.
PM Johnson said after the meeting that there is a good chance of a Brexit deal but it depends on the EU’s response and its policy on Britain following Brexit.
