British Lower House leader resigns
(VOVWORLD) - Britain's House of Commons leader Andrea Leadsom resigned from Prime Minister Theresa May's cabinet on Wednesday, saying she can no longer support the government's Brexit approach.

Leadsom said in her resignation letter that she no longer believes the current approach will deliver on the 2016 referendum result. A Prime Minister office spokesperson said Ms. May is disappointed about Leadsom’s reasons for resignation and disagrees with her comments about the Government's Brexit approach.
