May told European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and German Chancellor Angela Merkel during separate phone calls that the government’s planned timetable for notification of Article 50 remains unchanged. European Commission spokeswoman Mina Andreeva said this is now a British affair and the timing is in the hands of the British authorities.
