(VOVworld) – Dozens of pictures and artifacts illustrating the life and teachings of the Buddha have been put on show as part of an exhibition that opened in Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday to celebrate Indian Cultural Week in Vietnam.

The Indian Consul General to the city, Deepak Mittal, said the “Dharma Darshan” exhibition aimed to encourage bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially the areas of architecture, art, and culture. The event is not only for entertainment but also provides useful information for visitors increasing their awareness of and preserving shared cultural heritage between Vietnam and India. The exhibition will last until March 14.
