Bulgaria’s Prime Minister wraps up Vietnam visit
(VOVworld) – Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Plamen Vasilev Oresharski left Hue on Wednesday concluding his official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung. During talks earlier the same day, Chairman of Thua Thien Hue province Nguyen van Cao expressed the hope for Bulgaria’s increased support and cooperation in investment, trade, garments and textiles, and energy. Prime Minister Oresharski said he believed Bulgaria’s localities and Thua Thien Hue would establish long-term cooperation in all areas.
During his 4-day visit, Prime Minister Oresharski held talks with Prime Minister Dung and paid courtesy visits to President Truong Tan Sang and Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. The leaders discussed global issues of mutual concern and agreed to step up cooperation in all areas, particularly economics, trade, investment, science and technology, education and training, culture, tourism, security and national defense. This is aimed at celebrating the 65th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties and implementing the new economic cooperation model. The leaders also stressed the need to support both countries’ businesses and investors to seek partners and cooperation opportunities.
