(VOVworld)-Economists have warned of challenges facing the Vietnamese business community amid uncertainty and new risks in the global business climate this year. Delegates at the conference "The Economic Landscape for Businesses in 2017" in HCM city on Sunday agreed that businesses must improve their management capacity to adapt to a fast changing world market.

“Business administration is a key to sucsess. Business management skills should be polularized among the domestic business community”, said Vu Tien Loc, President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

Nguyen Thanh Phong, Chairman of the HCM city People’s Commitee affirmed that the municipal authorities always stay side by side with businesses.

“We are ready to listen to their opinions and help them remove barriers. We are committed to creating the best conditions for them to grow internationally”, Phong said.  

Economists predicted that the ongoing recovery of the world economy will benefit Vietnamese exporters.
