(VOVWORLD) - Cam Ranh International Airport has been given the Airport Health Accreditation (AHA) from the Airports Council International (ACI) for safety and prevention measures against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The AHA program demonstrates to passengers, staff, regulators, and governments that the airport prioritizes health and safety in a measurable, established manner.
To be certified by the ACI, airports are assessed in a number of categories including cleanliness and disinfection, physical distancing, staff protection, physical layout, passenger communications and passenger facilities.
The 50,000m2 Cam Ranh International Airport is equipped with modern security systems, screening, control systems, fire prevention and support facilities meeting international 4-star standards.
Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, Da Nang International Airport in Da Nang, and Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh city were also honored with the AHA certificate.
