(VOVworld) – A ceremony was held on Wednesday in Phnompenh to mark the 37^th anniversary of the Cambodian United Front for National Salvation.

President of the National Assembly Heng Samrin reviewed the history of the Front which is considered the vanguard mass organization of the Cambodian People’s Party and was the major factor in the victory in the struggle against Khmer rouge.

The anniversary was also an opportunity for Cambodian people to pay tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for peace and development.
