This is stated in an official document in response to Cambodia’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries on 8 January announcing a decision to suspend imports of four catfish species, including pangasius, from neighboring countries, including Vietnam, to protect local farmers. According to the statement announced by Cambodia’s Ministry of Commerce, Cambodia will conduct consultations to seek an appropriate solutions to bring bilateral trade activities back on track for the interests of the two countries and peoples.
