(VOVworld) – On Monday, the Royal Government of Cambodia presented its Royal Medal to the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) and the Bank for Investment and Development of Cambodia (BIDC), a BIDV subsidiary company.

Deputy Prime Minister Men Som On praised BIDV’s contributions to Cambodia’s economic growth, its assistance to Cambodian disaster victims, its scholarships for Cambodians studying in Vietnam or in Cambodia, and its support for social welfare activities in Cambodia.

Operating in Cambodia since 2009, BIDV and its branches there have made significant contributions to Cambodia’s economic growth, helping to strengthen the friendship between the two countries.

BIDC is one of leading large-scale commercial banks in Cambodia.
