Cambodian NA President visits Vietnam's telecoms group Viettel
(VOVWORLD) - President of the Cambodian National Assembly Samdech Heng Samrin visited Vietnam's telecoms group Viettel on Monday as part of his ongoing visit to Vietnam.

Chairman and General Director of Viettel Group Tao Duc Thang said Viettel now has affiliates operating in 10 countries including Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Peru.
Viettel has been a successful researcher and manufacturer of high-tech military equipment and telecom network equipment, he said, adding that Cambodia is one of Viettel’s first successful foreign markets.
NA President Heng Samrin expressed his thanks to Viettel for its great contribution not only to economic development, providing high-quality telecommunication infrastructure, promoting digital transformation in Cambodia, but also creating many jobs, and improving the living standards of many Cambodians.
Mr. Heng Samrin affirmed that he would convey Viettel’s proposals to the Cambodian government to improve its policies, and laws to create favorable conditions for foreign investors to do business there.
