(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has urged Can Tho university to try harder to become a leading training center in the Mekong River Delta. During his visit to the university on Wednesday, the Prime Minister asked the university to focus on improving human resource training and the quality of lecturers, who should also be researchers. Dung stressed the need to strengthen scientific and technological application and foster student morality. The Prime Minister asked relevant ministries and agencies to allocate funding to Can Tho university to help improve its infrastructure and facilities.
