(VOVWORLD) - A career day in New York was the highlight of an annual event hosted last weekend by the Vietnamese Youth and Student Association in the US to promote friendship and solidarity among Vietnamese students there.
 A soccer tournament for Vietnamese students in the US is part of the event.

Participants heard from some successful individuals their experience in work and life in the US. The event included the DJ Challenge Final Round, a gala concert, a soccer tournament, and a painting exhibit to raise money for child patients at Tu Du hospital.
The 5th event of its kind was attended by Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Pham Quang Vinh and Nguyen Phuong Nga, Permanent Representative of Vietnam to the United Nations.
