(VOVworld) – Vietnam has earned approximately 980 million USD from exporting 3.2 million tons of cassava and cassava related products between January and August. According to the General Department of Customs, this is the first time cassava has joined the list of export items earning over 1 billion USD, which includes rice, coffee, and cashews. Cassava exports in September are projected to reach 250,000 tons worth 80 million USD.
