Celebrations of the 47th National Reunification Day held at home and abroad
(VOVWORLD) - An art performance “Songs of unification; aspiration for higher achievement” to mark the 47th anniversary of the National Reunification Day took place in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday night.

In downtown Hanoi, visitors could join exhibitions of Vietnamese traditional music and have first hand experiences with musical instruments and interact with musicians.
In the capital city’s Hoan Kiem Lake, visitors could explore traditional rattan weaving arts show from Phu Yen province.
In Truong Sa Island District, Khanh Hoa province, local people and soldiers held an incense offering ceremony at the Monument of Martyrs and the Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh to mark the 47th anniversary of Truong Sa liberation on April 29, 1975 and Southern Liberation and National Reunification on April 30, 1975.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Russia and the local arts and literature association held an exchange of poems and songs about national patriotism.
Trinh Thi Thu Thanh, a philanthropist representing the local Vietnamese community, said, “This is a significant event to connect local Vietnamese and the Embassy to reflect our devotion and love for the homeland while recalling the sacrifices of the predecessors for today’s peace.”
