Central Highlands’ cuisine highlighted at Gia Lai Culinary Culture Week 2023
(VOVWORLD) - Gia Lai Culinary Culture Week 2023 opened on Thursday at the provincial museum with 25 stalls, introducing typical dishes of the Central Highlands plus music and lighting performances.

Nguyen Thi Hang, a visitor from Hanoi, said that she enjoyed the specialties of the Central Highlands and Pleiku, like grilled chicken and Lam or bamboo-tube rice.
“The grilled chicken has very unique taste that can’t be found anywhere else. It’s best to eat Lam rice with sesame salt. The rice is soft and different from other regions. I’ll definitely come back to Pleiku city,” said Hang.
As part of Culinary Culture Week, the specialties of the region like coffee, pepper, macadamia, and cashew nuts are on display.
