Central Public Security Party Committee considers political security, social order a key task
(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on Friday praised the efforts of the Central Public Security Party Committee in comprehensively leading and directing police work for the 2015-2020 term. Mr. Trong made the statement at a conference announcing the Politburo’s decision to appoint the Central Public Security Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, in Hanoi.

Party General Secretary Trong emphasized that the task of maintaining political security and social order and safety must be the top task. He said, “It is necessary to build a professional, elite and modern force, especially human resources development. "The army must be sharp, the generals must be strong." Public security forces must be capable to defeat all and overcome all difficulties to accomplish tasks, deserving the glorious tradition of the heroic and brave People's Police of the Ho Chi Minh era.”
Mr. Trong noted that the Central Public Security Party Committee should pay attention to human resources development and building forces, organizations and operating methods that must be renewed and improved.
He expected the Central Public Security Party Committee will lead the Ministry of Public Security and all officers and soldiers to be exemplary, coordinated, united, and determined to definitely fulfill tasks in the 2020-2025 term.
