(VOVworld) - A free trade deal between the EU and Canada signed late 2014 has not been ratified due to legal disparities.

EU member states believed that the agreement covers numerous sovereignty issues and requires approval of all member parliaments. The EU and Canada expect to overcome legal issues to sign the deal this October in their summit in Brussels.
