(VOVworld) – Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying has given false and slanderous reports that Vietnamese vessels rammed and damaged Chinese ships. Hua made the false statements at a press conference on Tuesday in response to questions about Vietnam Television footage showing Chinese vessels ramming, and seriously damaging Vetnamese patrol vessels near oil rig Haiyang-981. Hua demanded that Vietnam withdraw all ships and personnel from the area and restore stability to the East Sea. Her account was a blatant fabrication by the Chinese Foreign Ministry to mislead the Chinese public and the international community.
