China confirms 4th coronavirus death
(VOVWORLD) - A 4th person in China died Tuesday from a new virus that has spread rapidly across the country.

Authorities have confirmed that it can be passed from person to person. Zhong Nanshan, Head of the National Health Commission, said at least 15 medical workers in Wuhan have been infected with the virus.
Chinese President Xi Jinping said Monday that it’s crucial to take every possible measure to combat the new coronavirus that has infected 220 people in China. A World Health Organization (WHO) emergency panel will meet this week to discuss the issue.
The outbreak has put other countries on alert as millions of Chinese travel for the Lunar New Year. Authorities in Thailand and in Japan have already identified at least 3 cases, all involving recent travel from China.
