China considers canceling trade talks with US
(VOVWORLD) - The Wall Street Journal said Sunday that China is considering canceling trade negotiations with the US after President Donald Trump threatened to increase tariffs on Chinese goods.

Mr. Trump said on Twitter that tariffs on Chinese goods could increase as much as 25% on Friday. A Chinese delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Liu He is set to visit Washington to begin a new round of trade talks on Wednesday. Mr. Trump’s warning puts new pressure on China and could escalate the current trade war between the two countries.
