China donates 170,000 USD to Vietnamese flood victims
(VOVWORLD) -The Vietnam Red Cross Society on Wednesday received 170,000 USD from the Red Cross Society of China, the Chinese Embassy and the Chinese Business Association in Vietnam to help people in the northern mountainous region overcome recent floods.

At the emergency aid reception ceremony in Hanoi on Wednesday, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Hong Xiaoyong sent sympathy to the flood victims, saying although the sum is modest compared with the huge losses the Vietnamese suffered from natural disasters, it contains the deep sentiment of the Chinese Party, State, and people for the Vietnamese people, particularly those in flood hit areas.
