This is the biggest batch of tariff exemptions China has offered on US goods. US agricultural, energy, medical, and mining products, including pork, beef, soybeans, liquid natural gas, crude oil, healthcare equipment, and recombinant insulin, will be exempted from retaliatory tariffs imposed during the China-US trade conflict, which ended when China's Vice Premier Liu He and US President Donald Trump signed the US–China Phase One trade deal in January.
Beijing said that as from March 2nd Chinese companies will begin to propose other tariff exemptions for US goods based on market conditions. All tax relief decisions will be effective for 1 year.
