At the 25th meeting of the Working Mechanism for Consultation & Coordination on India-China Border Affairs, the two sides welcomed the previous disengagement of border guards and highlighted the outcomes of bilateral external affairs and military exchanges.

They agreed to explore measures to deescalate and move from emergency response to normalcy at their border.

The two sides will adhere to previous agreements signed by the two countries’ leaders to ensure peace and security at the border.
