The discussions will be held at the Indian side of the Chushul-Moldo Border Personnel Meeting point. Going into the next round of talks, India hopes for some changes, at least to complete the troop withdrawal from Patrolling Point (PP) 15 at Hot Springs-Gogra-Kongka La. But Chinese military rejected all India’s proposals to de-escalate tensions at the Charding Ninglung Nallah in Demchok and Depsang delta.
Until now, China has maintained troops at the frontline and reinforced border infrastructure along the Line of Actual Control (LoC) from Ladakh to Arunachal Pradesh. India has also deployed equivalent forces in Ladakh.
