(VOVworld) – China’s Ministry of Public Security on Friday announced its latest investigation result of the recent attack in Xinjiang that left at least 39 people dead and 94 injured.

According to the investigation result, 5 people involved in the attack, 4 of them died, and the last one, Nueraihemaiti Abulipizi, was arrested on Thursday night in Bozhou district, Xinjiang. The 5-element terrorist group was established at the end of last year, all of them came from Bishan district. These elements were influenced by extremism and joined illegal religious activities. Xinjiang’s authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.The same day, China launched an anti-terrorist campaign in Xinjiang. The campaign will last until next June.
