China, North Korea discuss cooperation
(VOVWORLD) - Chinese President and Party General Secretary Xi Jinping and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un met on Tuesday in Dolian, China, to discuss the bilateral relationship and issues of common concern.

Mr. Xi said this is a crucial time as the Korean Peninsula’s issues are changing radically. Mr. Kim said the two countries’ partnership and the Korean Peninsula are seeing meaningful development. He added that his return to China aims to inform the Chinese top leader of the Korean peninsula situation and to promote peace and stability in the region.
