(VOVworld) – Chinese President Xi Jining pledged to America’s top business executives on Wednesday that Beijing would treat them fairly, remove barriers imposed on foreign investors, and increase intellectual property rights protection.

Speaking to 30 CEOs of leading American and Chinese corporations in Seattle on the second day of his US's visit, Xi promised to reform regulations on foreign investment while continuing to build a law-based and open business environment, an environment which would offer huge opportunities to American investors. Xi also vowed to stand firm to protect IPR and create an even playing field for foreign investors.

As scheduled, Xi will depart for Washington to meet President Barack Obama on Friday.
