(VOVworld) – China and the Republic of Korea will begin a round of talks on their 10th free trade agreement (FTA) next week, according to Seoul’s Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy. The week long talks will take place in Ilsan city to the northwest of Seoul, furthering discussions on goods liberalization, service, investment and legalities. The two sides will discuss a joint written agreement to include goods, rules of origin, customs, sanitary and phytosanitory (SPS), technical barriers to trade (TBT) and trade remedies. The new round of talks will also look at service and investment, intellectual property rights, e-commerce, transparency and the environment.
