China, South Korea to discuss THAAD issue
(VOVWORLD) - China and South Korea have agreed to discuss the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system and other issues, said Hua Chunying, spokeswoman for the Chinese foreign ministry, during a briefing in Beijing on Thursday.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has paid his first visit to South Korean since 2016. Relations between China and South Korea became strained over South Korea’s decision to deploy THAAD on the Korean peninsula in 2017.
