At press conference after meeting with visiting US Secretary of State John Kerry, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said the new resolution shouldn’t add trouble to the Korean Peninsula but seeking a long-term plan to stabilize it.
He insisted China’s willingness to hold talks with all parties involved. Wang Yi said China strongly opposed this action because North Korea’s nuclear test violated UN resolutions and went against the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
