(VOVworld)-The ASEAN and China have celebrated their 10th anniversary of the establishment of strategic partnership. At a reception in Jakarta on Monday, Chinese ambassador to ASEAN Yang Xiuping and ASEAN Secretary General Le Luong Minh pledged to further strengthen the bilateral relations. Minh said ASEAN and China have many differences so the strategic partnership must be built on mutual understanding and respect so as to resolve these differences through dialogue.

Xiuping affirmed ASEAN’s priority in China’s foreign policy. He said that 2014 will be observed as the ASEAN-China cultural exchange year.
