(VOVworld) - The Parties of China and Vietnam should enhance high-level delegation exchanges, reinforce political trust, promote strategic connectivity, boost people-to-people exchanges and effectively control disputes, for healthy and stable ties between the two Parties and countries.

Zhao Leji, member of the Communist Party of China’s Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee Secretariat and Head of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Department, made the statement during talks with Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and Head of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission, in Beijing on Sunday. Mr Zhao said that the Chinese Party, State, and people will spare no effort to deepen relations with Vietnam. Mr. Chinh said the Vietnamese Party and State treasures the comprehensive strategic partnership with China, and regard it as a top priority and strategic choice in Vietnam’s foreign policy. Mr Chinh said the two countries should increase political trust through high-level delegation exchanges, improve the effectiveness of cooperation mechanisms, particularly meetings between Politburo representatives, and educate the young people the traditional friendship between Vietnam and China.

Mr. Pham Minh Chinh also met with Liu Yunshan, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, who said the Party, State and people of China attach great importance to relations with Vietnam. He stressed that China will do its utmost to develop the relationship between the 2 countries.
