(VOVWORLD)-The Organizing Committee of the Ciputra Hanoi International Badminton Tournament – Yonex Sunrise 2024 held a press conference on Wednesday to announce the annual tournament.

The tournament jointly organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and the Hanoi Badminton Federation belongs to the competition and scoring system of the Badminton World Federation (BWF). It will take place from March 12-17 at Tay Ho Gymnasium in Hanoi.
The athletes will compete in five events: men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. The first prize winner will receive an award of 1,200 USD, the second prize – 720 USD, the third – 300 USD, and the fourth – 120 USD.
According to the organizers, more than 600 athletes from 29 countries and territories registered to compete. But only 310 athletes from 19 countries and territories are qualified.
