Classical Indian dances performed in Phu Yen province
(VOVWORLD) -An art program was held in Tuy Hoa city in the south-central province of Phu Yen on Tuesday night, featuring performances staged by local artists and classical Indian dancers.

The event was part of the show series co-hosted by the Indian Embassy and the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to celebrate the 50th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and India.
Indian Ambassador Sandeep Arya said the program contributed to consolidating and enhancing the traditional relations between the two countries, and promoting the effective cooperation between Phu Yen and Indian partners.
The Indian show was choreographed by the great scholar and seasoned art administrator Dr Sonal Mansingh, a Member of Parliament of the Upper House of the Indian Parliament (Rajya Sabha).
Earlier, the Indian repertoire group performed in Hanoi. Apart from the capital city and Phu Yen, they have come to Binh Dinh, Ninh Thuan and Tay Ninh through Friday.
