CNN’s 'The Keepers' explores Vietnam's traditional heritage
(VOVWORLD) - A special 30-minute program, 'The Keepers' exploring the traditional heritage of music, food, and art in Vietnam will be featured on CNN from Saturday to next Wednesday.

CNN reporters travel across Vietnam to meet young Vietnamese artisans and craftsmen racing to preserve their culture in a rapidly modernizing world.
One such individual in Hanoi is artist Tuan Le, the director of a circus show called “My village” which features Vietnam’s bamboo, an age-old symbol of strength and longevity which is widely used in many of the country’s traditional handicraft products.

The program will then take you on a tour of Sapa, one of the country's biggest tourist destinations, to discover the local culture and handicrafts produced by the many ethnic minorities living in the mountainous region.
The next stop is the ancient town of Hoi An. CNN gets a tour of the city's food scene with author, restaurant owner and local resident Ms. Vy.
'The Keepers' will begin on Saturday at 7.30 p.m. and be re-broadcast at 11.30 p.m. the same day, on Sunday, as well as next Monday and Wednesday.
