Politburo member To Huy Rua worked with Chairman of the Communist Party of Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov
(VOVworld) – The Communist Party of Vietnam and the Communist Party of Russia have discussed ways to enhance the efficiency of cooperation between the two parties.
At a meeting in Moscow on Wednesday between To Huy Rua, Secretary of Vietnam’s Party Central Committee and Chairman of Russia’s Communist Party, Gennady Zyuganov, the two leaders agreed on an exchange of delegations and information and experience sharing, on Party building and organising. Mr. Rua says:
“The Communist Party of Vietnam always attaches much importance to relations with Russian Communist Party, as we share the same ideals and our relations have been crystallized by this traditional attachment. We believe that Russia’s Communist Party will consolidate its role in the State Duma and in the Russian society. ”
In reply, Chairman Zyuganov said his party fully supports the policy of President Vladimir Putin, the government, and the parliament of strengthening comprehensive cooperation with Vietnam, particularly in electricity, nuclear power, oil, and gas.
The same day, Mr. Rua, met with staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and representatives of the overseas Vietnamese community in Russia.
