Competition on traffic culture launched
(VOVWORLD) - Nearly 1,700 youth union members in Kon Tum province on Saturday participated in the launch of a contest on traffic culture.
Organized by the Vietnam Youth League’s Central Committee, the National Traffic Safety Committee, and the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security, the contest will take place until December 22 aiming to raise young people’s awareness about traffic safety. Nguyen Hong Hai of the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union said: “It’s very important to change the public awareness about traffic safety and young people play a key role in the change. The contest is held nationwide asking participants to answer several questions. It is also held online at honda.com and thanhgiong.vn. 20 best contestants will join the direct talk with the jury board to select the winner.”
On the occasion, the Vietnam Youth League presented gifts to families of victims of traffic accidents. Honda Vietnam Company presented 500 helmets to local young people.
