(VOV) - The Italian symphony orchestra “I Solisti Veneti” will play a single concert at the Hanoi Opera House on Thursday to celebrate 40 years of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Italy. The event, organized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, will be dedicated to composer Giuseppe Verdi on his 200th birthday.

“I Solisti Veneti”, currently conducted by Claudio Scimone, was founded in 1959. Over the past 54 years, it has performed 5,000 concerts in 90 countries and territories around the world.
