Conference on socio-economic development in Red River Delta opens
(VOVWORLD) - On Tuesday, Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong will chair a conference on implementing the Party Politburo resolution on socio economic development and national defense in the Red River Delta until 2030 and vision to 2045.

Head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission Tran Tuan Anh said the resolution with new directions for the new context will be the foundation to work out policies for the region’s development.
"The development of the Red River Delta must be incorporated in the national development strategy. It’s important to focus on economic restructuring in connection with shifting the growth model and increasing productivity and the Total Factor Productivity (TFP)’s contribution of industrial production, modern services, and high-tech, organic and circular agriculture. We also need to promote green growth, circular economic models, and low-emission models to realize our commitments to sustainable development made at COP26," said Mr. Tuan Anh.
