(VOVworld) – The conflict in southern Yemen continues to escalate with on-going air raids by the Saudi-led coalition on Houthi rebels.

Clashes in the port city of Aden between the Yemeni government and the Houthis late on Monday killed 30 people. Meanwhile, the Houthis have taken control of some military bases in Shabwa province after 2 government brigades withdrew from the area.
