(VOVworld) - Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai on Friday attended the groundbreaking ceremony of Chu Lai-Truong Hai automobile engine production complex in the central province of Quang Nam. The factory is built with technology transferred from Korean Hyundai Group at a cost of nearly 185 million USD. The Deputy Prime Minister appreciated cooperation by Hyundai in transferring the technology for early completion of the project: "This is a key mechanic project for the automobile industry and supportive services. I urge the local government and business partners to ensure the project to be completed on schedule and provide sufficient workers' training for sustainable development."

The factory is expected to begin operation by next October and contribute to Hyundai automobile production chain.
