(VOVworld) – A seminar was held in Thua Thien Hue province on Friday to consult social organizations ways to help the Vietnamese government finalize the draft law on assembly.

Deputy director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Nguyen Tat Giap said the law on assembly will help improve state management and ensure the implementation of Vietnam’s international human rights commitments.

Scott Cimen, Policy Advisor for Rule of Law of the UN Development Program in Vietnam, said opinions contributed by local organizations will help the government realize of their difficulties in providing social services. Similar seminars will be held in HCM city, Da nang, Dak Lak, Can Tho, and Hanoi.
