Contest on Ho Chi Minh thoughts on public work ethics
(VOVworld) – The final round of an eloquence contest on Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts on public work ethics opened on Wednesday in Hanoi to mark the 123rd birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh on May 19. Nine contestants analyzed and clarified the President’s thoughts regarding the qualities necessary for a public employee, such as diligence, thrift, integrity, and selflessness as well as self-improvement. Chief organizer Tran Hong Ha, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies, said: “The contest aims to popularize the study and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples in the party committees at various levels. This will help to change the training of morality for the personnel, who are cadres, party members, workers, public employees and the people in central agencies”.

The contest once again confirms the moral legacy left by President Ho Chi Minh, which remain current and relevant today while Vietnam is in the process of building a contingent of public employees and administration reforms advancing towards a socialist state of Vietnam governed by law.
