(VOVworld) – The 11^th Vietnam’s Trade Union Congress continues for a second day with group discussions. On Monday 20 groups focused on revised Union regulations and a report by the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL). Delegates say the regulations of the 10^th congress setting the organization and operating principles of the Trade Union under the leadership of the Vietnamese Communist Party, were consistent with the current Constitution. Delegates put forward proposals and solutions for the next term. Do Thi Lan is President of Quang Ninh’s Confederation of Labor: “The delegates contributed opinions on the situations, and spiritual lives of workers. They put forward proposals so that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor can resolve problems and limitations. They urged better quality and effectiveness of Trade Union activities at all levels to ease difficulties for workers and protect their interests in the current period.”

The congress will announce the election results for VGCL executive committee.
