(VOVworld) – Vietnam is grateful for Tanzania’s support for its national liberation struggle and current national construction and defense. At a meeting with Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the ruling Revolutionary Party (CCM), on Wednesday, President Truong Tan Sang congratulated the party’s victory in the general election last year and briefed on the results of Vietnam’s 12^th National Party Congress.

Sang said Vietnam always treasures its friendship and cooperation with Tanzania.  He noted that cooperation between the two parties will facilitate cooperation in economics, trade, and investment. According to Kikwete, Tanzania’s Revolutionary Party wants the Communist Party of Vietnam to share its lessons in party building and personnel training. He said that a delegation of Tanzania’s Revolutionary Party will visit Vietnam in April this year.
